Raise. Deliver. Build.

Turn one‑off giving into annual project income.

Agree one fixed Engine Fund. Garden builds and runs the campaign. Our working performance standard is to raise at least twice that amount in each cycle. One half funds the project. The other funds the next cycle.

Start with the project, not the cheque. We assess fit before an Engine Fund is agreed.

Take it to the board

Your current model, in plain English

A £50,000 fixed Engine Fund targets at least £100,000 per annual cycle. £50,000 funds the following cycle and £50,000 can support the project. Repeated over 10 cycles, the model produces £500,000 in project income while each next cycle remains funded.

This is a fundraising performance model. It is not an investment return. Eligibility, costs, controls and measures are agreed before launch.

01 The problem

Your project lasts for years. Your fundraising budget lasts for a campaign.

Muslim charities are trusted with ambitious, high-value projects. Yet many teams have to find a fresh budget, rebuild a proposition and reacquire attention every year.

That stop-start model makes long-term planning harder. It also treats each donor gift as an ending when it could be the beginning of a fundraising asset that works again.

The change is to fund a repeatable income engine, not another isolated campaign.

02 How the engine works

One agreed fund. A cycle designed to renew itself.

Your donors already give. We build the proposition, page and campaign system that turns that willingness into repeatable funding for a named project.

  1. Phase 01

    Agree the Engine Fund

Choose a fixed amount that fits the project, the donor audience and the charity. The number comes after project fit, not before it.

  2. Phase 02

    Build the proposition

Garden shapes the donor case, campaign page, creative and journey using project information your charity has approved.

  3. Phase 03

Raise at least twice the fund

We run and improve the digital, social and email campaign against the agreed performance standard and reporting measures.

  4. Phase 04

Fund the project and the next cycle

The agreed amount runs the next cycle. The balance moves to the project under the controls agreed with your charity.

A £50,000 Engine Fund targets at least £100,000 in each cycle.

This is a fundraising target and operating model. It is not an investment product or guaranteed financial return. Definitions, costs, controls and performance measures are agreed before launch.

03 The proposition from every seat

One model. Three reasons to engage.

For the CEO

A planned income line

Move from campaign-by-campaign uncertainty towards dependable annual income for a strategic project.

For trustees

A controlled cycle

A fixed fund, clear ownership, approval gates, reporting and a conscious decision before the next cycle.

For donors

A gift that keeps working

Help create the engine that can keep funding a valued project, instead of meeting one short-term gap.

Your charity brings

The ingredients donors already trust

  • Donor trust

A community that already believes in your mission and gives to your work.

  • A project worth backing

A credible, high-value need with evidence, outcomes and a long-term horizon.

  • Delivery capability

The governance, partners and operational ability to turn income into impact.

Garden adds

The system that makes the giving repeat

  • The fundraising proposition

A donor case built around the project, the repeating cycle and the difference a gift can unlock.

  • The complete campaign engine

Page, creative, paid digital, social, email, improvement and reporting in one accountable system.

  • The discipline to repeat

Learning and performance carried from one cycle into the next instead of being lost after a campaign.

04 Designed for long-term work

Fund the project, not just the appeal.

The best fit is a project with a strong donor story, demonstrable impact and a reason to keep funding it over several years.

05 Why The Garden

Fundraising knowledge is only half the job. We understand what happens after the money is raised.

One team

from proposition to campaign and delivery

Control is part of the engine

Four gates protect the charity and the work.

Project gate

Evidence, delivery route and donor case are checked before the fund is agreed.

Approval gate

Your charity signs off the proposition, claims, creative and use of money.

Launch gate

Activity starts when the agreed information, assets and approvals are ready.

Renewal gate

Results are reported and another cycle follows the agreed decision process.

A proposition for major donors

“Your gift will help create the fundraising engine that keeps this project moving.”

This is a bigger conversation than asking a high-net-worth individual or trust to meet one annual gap. It gives them a role in changing how the charity funds its future.

06 Muslim charity fundraising questions

The detail, when you need it.

Clear answers on the 2:1 model, governance, digital fundraising and long-term project income.

What is a fundraising engine for a Muslim charity?

It is a repeatable fundraising system for one defined, long-term project. The charity agrees a fixed Engine Fund. Garden builds and runs the campaign with a working performance standard of raising at least twice that amount. The agreed fund can then run the next cycle while the balance supports the project.

How does the 2:1 fundraising model work?

For every £1 in the agreed Engine Fund, the working target is to raise at least £2. A £50,000 fund therefore targets at least £100,000. The next £50,000 cycle is funded and £50,000 can move to the project. This describes fundraising performance and does not offer an investment return.

How can one-off donations become annual charity income?

The donor gift helps create the fund that powers a complete campaign cycle. The model preserves an agreed amount from the money raised to run the next cycle. Repeating that discipline can create a planned annual income stream for the project.

What does the fixed Engine Fund pay for?

It pays for the agreed campaign engine: proposition development, campaign page, creative, digital advertising, social and email activity, improvement, reporting and campaign management. Scope, controls and budget are agreed before launch.

Who controls the project, message and money?

The charity owns the project, approves the proposition and remains responsible for governance and any restricted-fund obligations. Garden operates the fundraising campaign within the agreed scope. Use of funds, reporting, approval gates and any next cycle are agreed in advance.

Can the engine fund a multi-year charity project?

Yes. It is designed for credible, high-value projects that need dependable funding over several years, including schools, health facilities, water systems, community infrastructure and income-generating development programmes.

How is this different from a normal Ramadan campaign?

A normal campaign often starts with a new budget and a new scramble each year. This model can use Ramadan and year-round digital fundraising as part of one continuing engine. The next campaign fund is designed into the current cycle so learning, reach and donor relationships can carry forward.
