How consent works
This site uses a block-until-consent model. Analytics and marketing scripts do not load until you accept the relevant category. Rejecting non-essential cookies keeps both categories switched off.
The consent-control name is garden_cookie_consent. The current version is stored in your browser’s local storage as garden_cookie_consent_v2, rather than as a cookie. It records two true-or-false choices: analytics and marketing.
Strictly necessary
These functions are needed to serve the site and remember the choice you made. They cannot be switched off through the preference panel.
The current website code does not directly set a strictly necessary cookie. It stores garden_cookie_consent_v2 in local storage so the banner does not ask on every page view.
Analytics
No separate analytics tag is currently active. The preference remains available for site measurement; Google Ads and Meta Pixel require marketing consent.
Marketing
If you accept marketing, the site loads Google Ads and Meta Pixel to measure and improve outreach, including visits, story engagement and successfully sent enquiries. We do not send the contents of your enquiry to these tools. If you do not accept marketing, these scripts are not loaded by the site.
The website code does not directly name or set a marketing cookie. Google and Meta may create cookies after consent according to the active Pixel configuration.
Manage your choices
You can reopen the preference panel at any time using Manage cookies in the footer, or use the control here: .
Withdrawing consent updates the active tools and removes their optional first-party cookies. Your revised choice also applies to later visits.
Clearing this site’s local storage removes the saved choice and causes the banner to ask again. You can also use your browser settings to remove cookies or local-storage data.
