Completed Al-Shifa A&E restoration clearly separated from continuing running costs.

  • 03

Appeal explanations connected to the appropriate donation forms.

The thinking behind the work

Clarity is part of care.

PIMA's work starts with medical need. Our contribution is to help people understand that work and find a clear way to support it, with care for both the person giving and the people whose lives an appeal describes.

Working within the team's existing website, we have reshaped appeal pages, brought project updates into clearer view and supported the communication around them. The work calls for editorial judgement as well as design.

A considered choice

Explain what has been completed, what is still needed and where support can help.

Completed work

Support that continues

The running-cost appeal explains the continuing need and offers its own route to give.

Make the distinctions that matter.

A completed restoration and an ongoing running-cost appeal tell different parts of a story. Presenting them clearly helps a supporter understand what has already happened and what their contribution would support now.

That distinction shaped the presentation of Al-Shifa's restored A&E department and continuing running-cost support. It also informed the way completed project updates sit alongside current appeals. A clear label and a well-chosen link can carry a great deal of responsibility.

Work with the organisation as it is.

The changes were made within PIMA's existing website and publishing process. We worked across appeal introductions, programme explanations, page structure and the routes to the appropriate donation forms.

The appeals collection now gives current work a consistent presentation. Each appeal has its own explanation and route to support, while related updates help people understand the wider context. These changes are visible across the public site, connecting the explanation of the work with the experience of supporting it.

The continuing relationship also includes campaign support and review. Throughout, PIMA and its partners remain responsible for the medical work. Garden's role is to help communicate that work accurately and make the experience of supporting it easier to follow.
