The thinking behind the work
Direction into everyday work.
With the Amir Khan Foundation, our work has moved between the wider direction and the everyday details: how projects are explained, how people can give and how the Foundation keeps speaking to supporters.
The relationship brings together strategic support, website work, email, social activity and campaign planning. The value is in understanding how those pieces connect to the charity's purpose and to the people responsible for carrying them forward.
A considered choice
A charity's wider ambition needs to remain clear across its everyday communication.

Programme clarity
Give active programmes, work in development and earlier activity their appropriate place.
Connected communication
Bring the website, email and social work back to the same organisational priorities.
Give programmes a clear place.
We have worked on the Foundation's website and the presentation of its programmes, helping people understand the work and find an appropriate route to support it. That includes considering the difference between active programmes, work in development and the record of earlier activity.
Those distinctions matter. A page should make the status and purpose of a programme clear, and the giving journey should reflect what the charity can currently offer. The work joins communication, design and practical implementation.
Keep the wider picture in view.
Website improvements sit alongside email, social communication and campaign preparation. We work with the Foundation's leadership and team to connect the next piece of activity to the priorities they are working towards.
Review is part of that continuing involvement. Plans develop, programmes change and new decisions arise. Keeping a shared view of the work helps the people involved understand what needs attention and how one piece relates to another.
The Foundation and its delivery partners carry out the humanitarian work. Garden's contribution is the strategic and digital support around it. It is a continuing relationship, with the wider direction kept close to the everyday work.
Delivered website and communication work within an ongoing client relationship. Humanitarian delivery belongs to the Foundation and its partners. Reviewed 25 September 2026.
