THE GARDEN
A faith-rooted collective building what the British Muslim community needs - for this life and the next.
The Garden combines decades of expertise in Muslim charity fundraising with end-to-end field delivery capability. We are, to our knowledge, the only organisation in the UK that does both. Alongside that, we build and run purpose-driven ventures serving the British Muslim community in giving, estate planning, hijrah, and digital marketing.
Everything we do is guided by Islamic values: accountability, intention, transparency, and long-term thinking.

The Garden's founding team spent over twenty years at the centre of Muslim charity fundraising in the UK. A pattern kept repeating: the people raising the money and the people deploying it on the ground were almost never talking to each other. Donors gave generously. Charities raised funds they then struggled to deploy properly. Accountability suffered on both sides.
The Garden came from that observation and from a sincere desire to build something better.

The name works on two levels. The first is the verb: to garden. You nurture. You plant. You nourish. You wait. Growth requires tending, patience, and the willingness to start before you can see the result.
The second is the destination. In Islam, Al-Jannah - The Garden - is where everything is ultimately headed. The premise behind our work is that the way we build here should reflect where we are trying to go.
Irfan has spent over twenty years building digital fundraising capability for some of the most well-known Muslim charities in the UK. At the peak of his previous work, the campaigns he ran were raising tens of millions of pounds a year.
The Garden is the next step - built to raise funds, make sure those funds reach the ground, and serve the British Muslim community across every part of their giving and planning life.
Humza has spent eight years building AI-driven systems for research, targeting, and outreach at scale. He sees AI at its most powerful when it is given access to tools and allowed to take actions - agents running campaigns, qualifying leads, managing processes.
His view on the sector mirrors the view The Garden was built on: the split between fundraising and field delivery has created inefficiency and lost impact for years. The Garden's structure makes it possible to give charities the end-to-end data visibility they have never had.
Riaz spent a decade in brand management and product launches for international brands before moving into the Muslim digital marketing sector, where he's built another ten years of hands-on campaign and platform delivery. He leads operations and technology across The Garden group, managing everything from campaign infrastructure to prototype builds. A father of four, Riaz brings a rare combination of corporate-grade execution and deep sector knowledge to everything he does.
Saima brings fifteen years of senior project management experience, delivering complex multi-million pound programmes across the corporate sector. Her technical background and structured approach now serve The Garden group as Finance Director, overseeing governance, compliance, and financial strategy across all entities. She has also delivered some of the largest Muslim community events in the UK and manages the financial architecture that keeps The Garden's ventures running cleanly.
WHAT WE ARE BUILDING TOWARD
One thing the Muslim sector does too often is build organisations that depend entirely on the person who started them. When that person steps back, the organisation fades.
The Garden is being built with that lesson in mind. The goal is an organisation that continually nurtures new talent, brings in people with deep expertise, and builds systems that compound over time.
We are planting a tree. We expect it to be here long after us.
